A £3million Investment at G&W

Over the next 12 months ‘Project Blue Water’ will see Grainger and Worrall Invest £3 Million into a 5 year Business Plan to further establish it’s reputation as a market leader in Prototype, Motorsport and low volume series Castings supported by our Engineering, Tooling and Machining services.

The project will take place in two phases;

Phase I
• Creation of a new CT/Metrology centre of Excellence
• Re-Siting of the Pattern Shop in a Purpose Built Facility

Phase II
• Creation of a new Foundry in Bay 6
• This is specifically to accommodate
Major New Contracts
• Full Production to commence March 2012

This Exciting new Business Plan will potentially increase the company’s group sales by 50% within 3 years, this will support our company goal to firmly consolidate G&W’s reputation as the first Choice for Prototype, Motorsport and Low Volume series Casting production.
 

June 2011 - Grainger & Worrall Ltd wins two top categories at local business awards.
Grainger and Worrall Ltd won both ‘Technology, Enterprise & Innovation’ and ‘International Trade though Export’ categories at the Shropshire Awards Presentation on Friday evening.
The Judges commented on the depth of technical capability and a culture within G&W to extend further its world class casting capabilities. They were also impressed by the application of technology right across the business and not just in it’s high end Motorsport applications of F1, Nascar and Moto GP where the company has a significant presence.
G&W’s export sales now account for more than 50% of its business and continues to grow proportionally supporting a truly global market including US, China, India and of course closer to home in mainland Europe. ‘The ability to provide technical leadership and world class service has clearly been a key to G&W’s export success’ explained the Judges.
G&W are delighted to win both awards and is testament to the hard work and commitment of all the team at Grainger & Worrall Ltd.
