Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Grainger and Worrall Limited
Specialist casting manufacturer, Grainger and Worrall Limited are
honoured to announce they have been chosen to receive The Queen’s Award
for Enterprise on April 21st 2012. The company was selected in the
Innovation category which recognises companies that have demonstrated
continuous innovation and development over a period of 5 years or more.
From its Bridgnorth based headquarters, Grainger and Worrall Limited
provide a high value-added manufacturing service to its customers which
is achieved through the development of cutting-edge technology and
innovation in the fields of Aluminium and Iron castings. As the global
market leader of complex high integrity structural castings, Grainger
and Worrall Limited work in a diverse range of industries including
motorsport (Formula 1), automotive, commercial vehicles, defence and
aerospace.
Commenting on receiving the award, Edward Grainger, Director, said “We

The Queen’s Award for enterprise is the U.K.'s most prestigious business
award and is awarded to companies for outstanding achievement within
their industry. The awards are made by The Queen, on the advice of the
Prime Minister, who is assisted by an advisory committee that includes
representatives of government, industry and commerce, and the trade
